Denise and Craig are an ultra contemporary and fashion-forward couple. These characteristics were an important factor when it came to them selecting their ultra-modern wedding venue, The North Carolina Museum of Art. Although Denise and Craig reside in Washington, D.C, the bride was adamant about having their wedding in the Tarheel State. So the NC Museum of Art was the perfect compromise for this couple!

Denise and Craig’s love story began through networking and chance meetings that weren’t really chance at all. Craig was drawn to Denise’s passionate and sophisticated personality and she was drawn to his distinguished style and intelligence. So when it came to planning their wedding, it was important to Denise and Craig that their love of fashion, sophisticated entertaining, and family be intertwined into their special day. For this reason, the primary focus was to create an unforgettable wedding experience that would leave their guests buzzing for years to come. To bring their dreams to fruition, Denise and Craig enlisted our services to plan their modern fete. The goal was to play up the clean lines and modern elements of the venue while incorporating a purple ombre palette to add drama to their upscale event.

Like a radiant purple orchid, Denise and Craig are a couple that radiates a stunning warmth that catches the eye and draws you in closer. From the very beginning, Denise was in love with the orchid flower and even more captivated by the ombre harmony of fuchsia, pink and purple undertones.
