“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.” There is no better way to celebrate 25 years of marriage than to have a vow renewal and to throw a rockin’ party for 150 of your closest friends! Rebecca and Elmer asked me to plan, design and coordinate their special day and it was so much fun!

The event was held at Traine Raleigh. On the center of the dance floor, the two had a heart felt ceremony that incorporated their two children. For the reception, they had food stations that represented different cities that were apart of their relationship. They also have six cakes that represented the colleges and the anniversary cake was a remake of their original wedding cake from their elopement in St. Thomas. They wanted to used purple and red as homage to their Greek organizations, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. We added lots of sparkle and even created a lounge area for guests. Guests danced the night away and had a blast!
